Red face Lesson Learned - must read

Now I've suspected al along that Morgan and his forum here had considerable juice to pass along to us all and I have confirmed it at a high price

Recently I posted that I was concerned about being bumped back a page in the serps by several posts from this forum. Well in my infinite wisdom I decided to change the text link in the sig until such time as the intial boost given the threads by freshbot subsided as Jim had mentioned and I suspected.

Well 2 days later I have paid the price by one of the sites falling back another page to page 3

Needless to say the sig is changed back and Hopefully it'll move back up just as fast

Don't make the same mistakes as me....make some new ones

Rich,

I would not make any changes right after seeing page flux.

Goolge seems pretty unstable right now. I've noticed on my site the cache has reverted to an older version. This has happened a couple of times in the last week.

Each time the cache changes my rankings also change.

I have also heard comments in other forums about sites dissapearing for a couple of days and then be right back where they were.

So I guess the point I am trying to make is...Patience is the key.

I think if your rankings drop you should wait for a few days or even a week maybe to see if it changes on it's own.

This is just my non-expert opinion!

"Your mileage my vary"

Also, here is a link to the other post in case others want to read it. http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...read.php?t=204
