I just saw a commercial for AskJeeves.com which I expect was fairly expensive.
Does anyone think that they are about to become a serious contender in the search engine market? After seeing the commercial I checked my rakings there for my primary key words and they were considerably worse than my rankings on Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, or Netscape. Does anyone know what AskJeeves.com weighs heavily in their rankings? And just an observation; AskJeeves.com has their first 10 results as sponsored listings. I can not imagine this as being a formula for success. But what do I know…

I don't receive any traffic from ask jeeves, so they are not important to me.
Do you have to pay to get listed in ask jeeves? I'm sure that I once went to submit my site, but they wanted cash to get listed. They can keep their listings, it should be free! |
