Default North Carolina License/Testing

I am a licensed Florida agent and am moving to North Carolina. Any NC brokers have information on the license test? There is no Florida / North Carolina reciprocity that I can find.

How hard is the exam? Best study guides?

Any help would be great.

Steve

Don't know yet. Raleigh or somewhere on the east coast. Like to stay around a suburban area.

Do you know of any good areas?

Someone else posted some information here that NC is a single license state. Where everyone is a broker, they have no agents. So, I would presume the testing would be a little more intense, like the brokers exam.

Don't know for sure though.

last i remember nc doesn't honor floridas or californians re license. if you know your stuff it shouldn't be too hard for you. the test we took in class was mainly terms and scenarios. there were a few math problems but you should be ok if you have experience.

I'm pretty sure you will have to either retake the class or pass the exam or both? The class at Mingle is good but make sure you get a good teacher. Some are terrible. The pass fail for the class is 50/50 and if you take your state within 1 month of passing the class you have an 80% chance of passing your state.
