So far this January I have averaged 303 unique visitors/day. That number in December was 231 and November was 163. My SERPS have not changed, the same traffic comes from the same search engines and the search terms I'm being found for have not seen significant change. Anyone else noticing increased activity.

I'm curious about whether this is an Austin thing or if it happening elsewere too.

We normally see an uptrend in out area in Jan. It's all the home owners thinking about changing homes in the spring. They will be calling the agents just before school gets out.

Typically (as monitored in our stats for several consecutive years), we always see a major upswing in visitors to the site right after Christmas. It lasts into summer when it begins to slowly subside, then in fall it drops like a rock. Same cycle, year after year!
