Default Slow Buyers

We are having a lot of buyers that are asking questions about properties but very very hesitant about buying a house.

Are other people seeing this as well? It seems like the conversion rate has gone way down recently. Any suggestions?

Isn't it great. People actually have time to make a logical decision without being pressured into buying something right now or losing. It requires a completely different approach.

We are experiencing a similar situation.

The rules and market are changing again, so hold on and do the best you can.

I see the same thing. People realize what type of market we're in now and they wish to see everything that matches their criteria and everything that doesn't. Working with someone for 6 months or longer is very typical for my area.

I treat my clients the same way I want to be treated... no pressure approach. I will do everything I can to help them out and I will not rush them. When they're ready to pursue a specific property, I'll be more than happy to assist them. Just build up your pipeline and you'll be just fine.

Part of it is consumers want someone to tell them now is a good time to buy. That could be because of their life situation, current interest rates, housing prices, etc.

It isn't a good time to buy in every market or for every person, but with values coming back more into reason it is certainly looking attractive!

The buyers have all of the power right now and they know it. Remember a couple of years ago when the sellers kept saying that they were about to list their house.
