Default Best format for a name in a URL

I'm reforming my URL for my agent pages so they display the agents full name. This way instead of seeing www.houseviewonline.com/agent/jrealtor.html they would see something like www.houseviewonline.com/agent/joe_Realtor.html. My question is from a SEO stand point is it better to use joe-realtor, joe_Realtor or JoeRealtor?

Matt Cutts has stated before that dashes "joe-real-estate-agent" are probably better than underscores "joereal_real_estate_agent". I think that both are better than the no separation "JoeRealEstateAgent"

Here is the link http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/dashes-vs-underscores/

Dashes and underlines seem to work the same, but go with what Matt Cutts says. Definitely better than no separation.

Personally I would do Joe-Realtor and take off the .html on the end.

I always advise customers to go all lowercase, and use hyphens (Dashes) and not underscores. The reason for the lowercase is so that type ins never have to remember whether it was or wasn't capitolized, the natural inclination when typing filenames is to not put in caps.

I agree, it's better if you use just lower case, because most of the people type it that way.I guess you could use both the underscore, dash, but i'd say you should choose dash, that's how i've seen on many sites ( i guess it's not a big difference on SEO, it just looks better with dashes) just my two cents

There is a legit reason for hyphen vs dash SE's see morgan_carey as morgancarey (Underscore is not credited with a space) and morgan-carey as morgan carey (Hyphen credited with a space)

Haven't tested it in a while, but used to be that way, so I see no reason to not continue

Are you being sarcastic? I do not believe that Neal was referring 2nd level domains.
