Hi, I'm definitely a newbie to the MLS and IDX integration, but I've spent some time and read through a lot of these threads.
I'm designing a back-end for some simple real estate solutions. I happened to test out the another real estate website vendor's back-end and they have a really easy "import MLS listing" feature that allows the customer (making their real estate site) to automatically add a listing by an MLS number. What puzzled me is that they only offer the customers a framed solution for searching the MLS listings (so they must not have their own feeds?). So my question is, how are they searching the MLS (legitimately?) and obtaining the data for the customer? I would be interested in doing the same, but I have no idea how they are doing it. It may help to know that the customer must select a state where the MLS listing is located in when entering the MLS number. Thanks for the help Last edited by webmaster; 01-24-2008 at 08:50 AM. |

Iframe sites are easier to mantain and they can build them faster (they just have to build the design)

Yeah, perhaps you're right... is that the only legitimate way to do that? They didn't appear to be making enough money to accommodate for those vendor fees. Thanks for the reply guys
