Default Back taxes houses

I live in Georgia, do anyone know about houses that taxes are due. We have a list that comes out once a month that all you have to do is pay the taxes and the home is yours, but have heard rumors that the house is not yours until a year later. Any comments.

Thanks

Every state has different laws about tax liens and tax sales.

In some places, you earn a percentage of your investment until a certain date, and if the homeowner pays up, then that's it. If they don't, you get a deed.

In other places, yes, you get the house...

Your easiest bet is to go down to the Sherrif's office and ask how it works!
