OK, so I tried to ask people about Helloworld and not many responses. Am curious if anyone is using video email, what they are using to do it, how has the response been so far.
Please let me know thanks rob

I've had a few people tell me that video email was the next great thing and that I should jump on the bandwagon. They wanted me to invest in a company that does video email. Unfortunately, I don't have the time, and really I prefer to read and write my messages anyway.

Just curious, what company was it that they wanted you to look at?

www.Videogenerator.com
is one such Company. I've Experimented around with it, and plan to do more. There are some Very Successful Agents who swear by it. It makes sense to me. I think the Multi-media approach is more unique and defining (as well as demonstrating Hi-Tech which shouldn't be a bad thing), than viewed by the Prospect as overly self-promoting your ego. I think the use of Video of yourself on your Website is Also a consideration (with a Skip Video Button). It Must be a 1st Class Production though. I think if any Agent is ashamed/unsure of their Appearance, Speaking Ability, etc., this may not be for them. But sooner or later you must Communicate with and hopefully meet the Prospect, so being overly concerned about turning them off and "Hiding your Light under a Bucket" might not be to Best Marketing Mindset. |

I must say that I am a little surprised that there has been little to no response on this topic. So is it that no one is really implementing any kind of video in their business and if not, why not. Just surprised...
If this is not the tech that you are implementing, what tech are you implementing

Call me old fashioned, but I still subscribe to home delivery of the newspaper...
I don't even read html emails. If I can't see the plain text in the preview pane, I don't open it. If I do receive a link to youtube or something from a friend I'll sometimes check it out.

I haven't had time to really figure out html emails let alone video mail. I don't think it is something that my clients/prospects are expecting from me. It might be an interesting test to see if there is a better response. I would think a combination of html, plain text and video might reach the broadest spectrum of users. Might be a good way to plan a drip email campaign.

Ditto that. Video emails hold no interest from me. I do, however, like many videos I've seen on web sites--especially those linked from other servers like youtube or Wellcomemat. |

If you want to experiment with video email, there are several free options out there, like EyeJot.com
Hello World is a multi level marketing scheme. I find many of their 'salespeople' to be very aggressive in the sales area and very unknowledgeable in the technical area. Their website is funky and is very difficult to use and not compatible with all browsers and operating systems, something I also have an issue with if you're dealing with the general public. And because there is 'nobody home' in regard to technical issues, you're pretty much left to deal with their 'salespeople'... who all get 'credit' and money when you sign up... and sign others up. |

Thanks...yes we have a couple of people in the office that sat me down and tried a hard sell on me with Helloworld. I am not interested in becoming an affiliate, but I did like the ease of the video email...although I did have some tech difficulties with some of the funcitons. I am currently using a free account that was given to me to evaluate it, but always like to see what else is out there. I know about Talk Fusion as well, but they seem to only be video email where as helloworld has a bunch of applications. I found the broadcasting to be interesting since I do alot of tech training with other agents in the office, alot of time, space runs out so it would be great to transmit to the other offices, which we are going to try at the end of this month to see how it works.
Anyway, the Talk fusion sales staff is pretty pushy too, as I had a guy from talk fusion go off on me yesterday because I said I was looking for more bang for the buck although I liked the concept. I will try out that site you referenced...thanks
