Submitting your site
As I type the nice folks here are helping me with a google site map, but should I be submitting my site to yahoo, msn, ask and other searches?

No need really - Yahoo and MSN are also crawler based, so they should respider your site in due time.

You should submit the sitemap to yahoo, google and msn, but not to re-submit it - usually, those search engines spider themselves the sitemaps so you don't have to resubmit it again
