Default Bad tel #s

Anybody have a magical script for getting a lead to give you a "good" number. I know some leads aren't ready to speak with an agent right away. I'm testing a few scripts now with various results. I've found sometimes they just hit the wrong key. Ideas?

I do know if I call it a Script, but I have Text on my Website's Registeration Page to the effect: "Please note that due to our Offer and Specialization, we attract a Large number of Visitors, and find we must devote our time towards our SERIOUS Clients who provide Accurate contact information. We want to insure you receive the Infomation you requested."
If we have a good E-mail address only, we then e-mail back to the Prospect a Survey asking them to help us improve our Site for the sake of future visitors with their suggestions. At the end are two Fields for phone numbers which Now are "Optional". Both approaches seem to work Fairly Well.

The survey is a great idea for bad #s. Would like to see it. I have two incorrect tel #s emails I'm split testing right now. I'll let you know how that works out.

I can shoot these out to multiple leads @ once. I do know that I've closed alot of leads over the years who "accidently" mistyped one digit.

I figure if we get 300 -500 bad #s this year and can convert 1% then that is 3-5 sides......certainly worth testing some email scripts imo.

U2man, I'll be glad to forward you my Surveys if you'll please provide me with the Best E-mail address to do so.
www.icontact.com
is a company that can provide hosting and formats for such surveys.
The idea is to come across as an Interested Provider of Information seeking the Prospect's help in Bettering your Site for the Benefit of future Visitors.
They left without providing Complete/Accurate Info. (ph. #) for some reason.
You want to Improve your Site if they can help you identify the reason your Site didn't Turn them On More so as to provide the Proper Contact Info. so you can futher assist them in their Homesearch. Establishing This Image, and ongoing Communication is the Key.
