Spider traffic
Where in Google Analytics would I find the amount of traffic I receive from the different spiders?

I'm going to answer my own question. Based on information in the help section of analytics, Analytics does not record traffic from most spiders. Specificly, they stated that it does not record traffic from the Google spider and implided that traffic was not recorded for the other major search engines.

You can log into Google Webmasters to see that--- and also, you can check your cache info in any Google search... or am I misunderstanding the question?

If you sign up for Google's Webmaster Tools (free) and add your website, you can get more detailed information about Google's last crawl. This includes a list of URLs that Google had difficulty crawling and detailed content analysis.

No nothing on my home page. I took it off after it didn't work. I tried to copy and past the code for verification after my header, but it was always in the wrong place. Didn't know how to do the tag

I tried and this is what I get.
Verification status: NOT VERIFIED Last attempt Feb 18, 2008: The verification meta tag is in the wrong location on the page. It must be within the first <HEAD> section of the page. Maybe I'm in the wrong part of my site. In the back end I have gone to the main page HTML between <h1> and </h1>.
