St. Lawrence Properties, Test Site
Its not live yet, but I am liking it already. Still working on content, but for now what do you think about my future site compared to my old site. FYI: Old site has not been updated in months! I got tired of working on a bad product. Can't wait to make this one live.

LOL, been busy, give me a chance
 I like the wide hack and the new site loads much faster then the old. While I'm not a big fan of right side navigation, the new site is definately easier to navigate then the old. Shouldn't LLC always be caps?

I saw it a week or so ago. I was dev6 for templates until I decided to go custom and accidently ended up there after they started yours. It looks good to me. I am a fan of right hand navigation - don't ask me why. I used right side menus when I was playing with Joomla.
Bump this thread when you have done some more content and we'll look again. Jennifer/Jessie - have you read the red book yet?

Your site is BEGGING to have an "elastic" layout (not "liquid"). Change from using "pixel" font sizing to "em" (with body font-size:75%).
While you have the global font sizes in percent posted in your css you should use them - at least as a general starting point. Make your body font-size 75% and adjust individual select elements as needed using "em" for relative sizing. This will at least let you set the base size as you like it in your design, yet still accommodate those with visual impairments who increase their browser text size. The nav bar blew up with just one click on "increase" in my browser's text size. I wish I had a layout for my main site as potentially "elastic" friendly as yours. I'm stuck with all fixed. Well I am sure REW will teach me about Elastic, but I think I know what you are getting at. I sometimes make the text bigger on web sites as well.
OK: Tell me what you guys think of this. I decided to clean up my front page a bit and add most of that info on the banner into the contact field. Here is the old and the new. Give me a Thumbs Up or Down on the new Banner

Personally I like the old banner better. I like having the information right there for me to find easily. I don't think that the St. Lawrence Properties name becomes lost, it is still dominant from the rest of the banner. The only change I would make is format the Office and Fax numbers the same. Right now Office has () around the first 3 numbers and Fax doesn't. Both are looking good, I just like the information easy to find on all pages.
