I am not sure why you would optimize for MSN alone as it has a very low percentage of the search engine traffic.

diversification. I rank well in Yahoo and MSN and just started working on google with an REW site. Would sure suck to base your business on ranking well in google and drop during an algo change and have nothing to fall back on.

MSN is on the edge of SE share. I don't think it's a good idea to create a new site for MSN

Although that is true about google, msn does not have nearly enough market share to even make a difference. I rank well in msn but get nearly no traffic from there...either that or people are searching on different terms that I havent figured out yet

i don't think you need a website either, but my seo knowledge is limited. i think you should just develop new pages on your site for different search engines and see how that works.

if you have time/$ to start a site for each SE then do it!

Wouldn't waste my time on MSN. You'll see that MSN and Yahoo are always making changes to try and copy the market leader. Go for google and when the others make changes to keep up with them you'll still stay relevant.

I agree, majority of my traffic comes from Google and Yahoo.

I wouldn't work on msn either. I would continue working on google and if there is an algo change make sure you do the work to stay ahead.
