I understand that piece but there is general template guideline right?:
Ex:
Description: "An article about real estate trends in Bethesda, Maryland" - is this optimal -- less is more?

Then for keywords: "Real estate in Bethesda Maryland, Chevy Chase homes for sale in Bethesda Maryland, Montgomery County"
- Is it okay to put another area close to Bethesda but not cited in the blog post (Chevy Chase)? What about my reference to the county where Bethesda is located (Montgomery County)? -- this sort of stuff. Thanks all...K

The meta description does NOT help in your rankings, it helps for your clickthrough - so what should be in there is a compelling summary of the post, so that it peaks the interested of search engine users enough that they click to read more.
