I noticed many agents have search & even map search on their Featured Area pages. Does this come with the custom IDX or is it extra? If it is extra how much?

Yes but I have a lot more text/ content about the areas http://dev53.rewtemplates.com/Sunnyvale.php What if I did not want the listings to populate below the map? Then I could have more room for the text and still keep the search & map above the fold.

We could add in a snippet variable .... We could have one for Show Map (yes/no) and Show listings (yes/no) ....

Would take an extra 15 mins or so ... but it would be something like this:

$_REQUEST['show_map'] = true;
$_REQUEST['show_listings'] = false;

We'd make it so that it would show the listings and no map by default ... then you could specify in the snippet those 2 lines ... or just one of them for the desired effect ... Does that make sense? I think that will work for what you're lookin' to do.

So it would be possible to set it up like http://www.charlottencbuyersagent.com/ballantyne.php except the text would continue instead of having listings and it will take 1.15 hrs? Would that also include the contact boxes?

Yes - So we would just have the map and the page numbers. Contact boxes? Do you mean the contact form on the bottom? That's just a contact form snippet so yes that would be possible.
