Default Map Search

Two Things:

1.) Would like to add the Map Search functionality as well as Map search for my Featured Areas that will autofill the desired Area (i.e. Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, etc.) when placed on that specific are page.

2.) Is it possible to get a quick search box displayed my homepage?

Do I need REW custom IDX for these items?

Note: I use HomeCards for IDX/lead capture but may end up dropping this program when REW comes up with their own lead capture system.

Please advise.

Yes ... These would require a Custom IDX. The IDX that you have doesn't seem to send variables in a standard type way. It might be possible but would likely take a programmer a couple of hours to determine if it's even possible.

I've passed this over to sales if you are interested in a Custom IDX there are some special requirements for Metrolist CO.

Thank you,

Thanks. If that's what it takes then I may be inclined to go that direction. What's the word on when you might have a lead management/contact management system in place? I've seen posts that may be available in the future.

It's ready to go ... currently in Beta ... but we are installing it on customers websites ... The feedback is pouring in

One aspect of Homecards that I like is how my clients can search for homes, save their favorites etc. It provides a backend where I can view their saved listings, viewed listings and notes where they can comment on a specific property. Eliminates the need for them to email me with MLS #'s of their favorites as this is all saved for me to view on the backend. it's a very efficient tool to have for the buyer agent and their clients. Users can also set up their own email alerts of new listings based on their search criteria. Bu they do not have any map search functionality like REW.

suppose you could search properties on my site for a flavoring of it's functionality but you're probably familiar with the program already.

John, are you an agent or a broker (Of record)? In metrolist, ALL agents (Associate brokers) must use the same REW Custom IDX (No modifications allowed) - Brokers of record can make modifications

In terms of the backend - I believe all the funtionality you required (Viewing a customers saved favorites, saved searches etc) is already in the system.
