Default Question about REW blog page

What does the "page manager" do? So I've published a new blog entry and I understand what that does.

But I don't understand what the role of the "blog page" and "page manager" is?

When do I use the blog page, or more than one page?

Sorry for my confusion.

With the page manager, you can make static pages for your blog. It's kind of like a normal website. It would look like this after you put content in:

Kind of. I believe they still rank better in the SERPS than normal webpages. This is what I hear anyway. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Nick, you read my mind. That was exactly my other question - would it be worth it to duplicate some of my static webpage material from my REW template site to the blog "static pages" if it indeed has better SEO results than my current site?

Right now, I'm tending to think that this is not the case. Because I've done test searches of the areas for some of our more active bloggers with very well developed static blog "pages", and their personal website comes up as well as their blog entries, but never once have I seen the static blog page appear. It could just be a sampling error on my part too.

Duplicate content is a violation of the REW Blogs TOS, so good idea or not (It is not a good idea btw) - you would loose your blogging privledges for doing so
