Hi Guys,
This bas____(fill in the blank) is keyword repeating in hidden text and is the top result on MSN for keywords "Nashville Real Estate". http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?F...+rea l+estate The offending website: http://www.donsmith.com/page2.htm Where do you go on MSN to report him? At the bottom of every SERP is a link titled "Help Us Improve."

It's not the reporting feature that is the problem, unfortunately. Sometimes the search engines take action and sometimes they don't.

Robert,
There is not any hidden text on that page that I can see. There is some text at the bottom of his page that is definitely spam but not hidden and I doubt any search engines will punish him for it. As others have said on the forum before, "It's more productive to focus on your own sites rankings than to spend needless time complaining about those who rank above you". And that is the definition of SPAM Site Placed Above Mine Last edited by Salt River Media : 04-26-2005 at 09:41 AM. |

Robert,
I also notice that his page at #10 in google for Nashville Tennessee Real Estate is the homepage (donsmith . com). No hidden or repetitive text on there. Maybe the page you showed is a test page. Maybe not but who knows. Again, I think the best course of action is to compete rather than complain. |
