Default Fine tuning my MLS search tool

How much would it cost to narrow down the initial MLS search feed to just "area #42"?

Of course if the clients want to look at different areas they can always click on the "more options" button. I want users to be able to initially search only area 42 when they enter their condo criteria, which means in instead of giving them the "select city" option, it would just flatly say "Search For Downtown Condos Now".

Are you referencing the Quick Search on the home page of http://www.condostorela.com/ ?

If so that would be a 45min project ... We'd just take out the city list ... then add in the Text "Search For Downtown Condos Now" .... And Make the property type default to condos. Please let me know if that's what you want ... if it is ... approve the time and we'll get started

Yes, the quicksearch on the home page of condostorela.com.

Ok, so if you change it to default the search to "los angeles", that could still be a problem - that city choice includes more than just my "downtown" area which is specifically area 42 on the MLS database. Is there anyway to limit the search to specifically the MLS' area code #42? "los angeles" includes way too many areas outside of my desired focus and when a client gets results, it will include irrelevant homes outside of the "downtown" area. Does that make sense?

Yes - I believe I see your goal here ... just to show listings in Area #42 from the quick search. I'll get that completed for you.

Thank you,

Hello,

I've made the modifications to the quick search on your home page. It will now search only Condos in Area "42"

Thank you,
