I was looking at it in firefox and nothing seemed to work.
The "get free credit" button looks like a 1997 gif created with microsoft paint, I'd update it ASAP. I'm not really sure what the purpose of the site is? Are you selling property? Advertising for agents? AS I said nothing displayed in Firefox so I can't help you out anymore than that.

3D map does not work, I would expect viewers would expect it to and leave.
2D map did not bring up any properties when areas were clicked on, I would think viewers would expect to find something? Ads all over make it look like this site isn't about real estate but generating revenue by click through, but I understand the economics, and my expectations may vary from one looking for international property. Stick around and play by the rules, we will all will see how this works for you.

Thanks for your feedback, coastal.
We know about the problem with Firefox but we couldn't dedicate to fixing all aspects, as this is a very big job for us. Since only about 15% of our visitors use Firefox, we concluded that we better wait for Firefox upgrades that will solve some of the issues, rather then putting ourselves a big effort into adapting to a non-standard browser. If you have the possibility, you should try with IE. The site is an FSBO, where individuals and agents advertise their properties (same concept as zillow.com or trulia.com). |

Hi Pinehurst RE Guy!
That's the first time we get a notification about 3D maps. this is a feature offered by Virtual Earth and we never expected it to work, as well as never expected that someone would ever expect it to work... ![]() The remark about the 2D maps is however worrying. You mean you didn't see any of the several tenths of properties displayed by default in Europe? Maybe you looked over the US, where nobody actualy posted any Ad yet... The business model is indeed focusing on generating revenue by click-through. We are not selling those properties, we only advertise them. We will keep you posted about how it's going on in a few months from now. Meanwhile, thanks for your feedback! |

Same here, using FireFox and your virtual Earth map never loaded. Color scheme a little to 1970's for me and unless you have a high CTR your only going to make 5 to 10 dollars a month using Google AdSense.

To add to the "doesn't work in FireFox" point, here's a great tool to use to debug client-side issues in FireFox (if the link doesn't work, do a google search for "firebug"...it's the first result").
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843 This will show you any and all JavaScript errors, and you can set breakpoints and step through your code as if you were using an IDE. I would imagine the issue you're having is on the JavaScript side. I don't see any "errors" when the page loads, but when I click the Search button, I do get errors (the "map" object does not seem to be properly instantiated in Firefox).
