Trying to decide and looking for advice from the group, skinny or wide template and why? Any advice would be truly appreciated, thanks much!

IMO use the wide.

Looks Better, get more info on it, doesn't look so tiny on the newer monitors.

Definitely wide... it looks great in 1024x768 which is the most popular resolution right now... and resolutions are only going up not down.

Go wide. Most users are using at least 1024 resolution and the wide looks great on it.
