Just wanted to get some feed back. I was search Atlanta Real Estate and I found a site ryanward.com and atlantapros.com. I see that both of these site rank highly. When I looked at the code it didn't seem to be all that different, except the atlantapros site from what I can do myself. My question is are these site ranking highly based on inboubd links? is there something in the code that REW and AA put into their template sites that Google, Yahoo like? It just seems like plain old html or php to me. And if the school reports and area info are dis-allowed on the robots.txt file this cant be helpin them, must be the links?

atlantapros.com has a lot of links and she did a lot of work to it, it is also almost a 7 yr old domain which helps a lot. AA sites rank very well if someone puts the work into it but AA has constant crashing, really ugly urls, back end limitations, and all sorts of problems but they do rank well if the work is put into the site. The high rankings does not offset the major problems us AA site owners experience. Hence why a lot of AA customers are moving over to REW, that and the fact I keep telling them too

is there coding that the search engines like that are in REW websites? I can't seem to think that would be possible. My website I built has no tables (only divs) and is W3c compliant. Is this a strong enough foundation? or am I missing something in the template sites that REW offers that I won't be able to compete with?

Actually with respect to AA sites, there is LOTS in their code that "hurts" their sites, in fact although you "can" rank the main page of an AA site and perhaps a few internal pages, because advanced access sites are so poorly coded, it takes a lot more effort to achieve the same result. (Hence why I hate being compared to AA sites lol)

I took a look at your markup, and it is extremely clean - thus if you started day 1 with your markup, vs day 1 with an AA site all other things being equal, you should actually have an easier time ranking your site (And for many more keywords) than an AA site.

At the heart of your question I suppose is - (And permit me to paraphrase your question)

If I already have extremely clean CSS based markup, is there anything "special" I can do markup wise to cause my site to rank higher in the search engines"

The answer to that is no - there is not - Clean code is an excellent "base" to start with, as it ensures all of your content efforts and other SEO factors will be properly considered, but once you have wicked clean code (Such as your site, REW sites, many wp themes etc) then what it takes to rank has to do with what you do with that clean site (Content and architecture wise) as well as the diverse portfolio of quality links you are able to build.
