I like the colors used on the site. I would incorporate your telephone number into the header on the home page. I think the photo on the home page is too tall and pushes the text way below the fold. The fonts used for the text on the home page appear to be smaller than the fonts on the interior pages.
I would tighten up the spacing on the left side nav so that eveything is visable without scrolling. The Meet The Owners link is broken located at the bottom of the Why are we different page.

I greatly appreciate your help. It helps to get another view point. When you look at something so much, you fail to see the small problems. I will get the designer to work on it....Blessings, Amy

Amy - its a distinctive and beautiful looking site
However, I will bet that if you put the map up at the top then you'll ultimately get more leads. The flash looks nice, but why are people on your site? Presumably to find properties? Designing websites for lead capture is like designing any piece of direct marketing - you must have a simple, non-confusing call to action. What do you want them to do?? So - put the map at the top - this is your 'call to action' However, I see another issue - your map suggests that when I click it I will begin a home search - and when I do click it I end up on another landing page where I have to search hard (relatively speaking) to find out how to actually see properties. So - the landing page is a great idea - but stick the 'Click here to see properties' on that landing page right at the top!! Put an icon of a magnifying glass with it - make it very obvious that this is the way to see actual properties. Finally, back to the flash. See if you can get an image up fast while the rest of it loads. Your flash is showing a loading bar initially and this is not a good way of keeping people on the site. Secondly, make the flash click-able - people love to click the flash - make it click through to the map-search page (which I presume is where you want them). Perhaps even put a translucent and non-intrusive bar across the flash with words like 'Click here to start your search!' Also - don't take anyone's word for it!! Set yourself up with a Google Adwords / Analytics account. This has a free tool called 'Website Optimizer' You can set up multi-variant testing of multiple components / designs of pages to see which gets you the best conversion rates. Its very simple to set up and I continually look for improvements in my own sites and if I get good idea from someone I TEST IT... Google will soon tell me if version A is better than B... and by exactly how much!! This removes all the need for magical predictions and so forth. Have fun!

Hi Amy,
Great site, love the colors. I am the first to admit that I like the big flash presentations, but you have so much going on here with your custom map that you may want to have it sized down just a bit without compromising your design. I agree about the clicks on the map. I have to drill down several layers before actually getting to the information that I want for the home search. You will probably want to put contact information in the banner, that was a good suggestion. Don't make people try to find out how to contact you. Your name/names, phone and clickable email that goes to a contact page. Do you have a USP? I would rework the banner so that you maintain the big feel of North Texas Homefinders, and have your unique selling proposition and contact info there as well. Make your text on the homepage a little bigger, it's difficult to read. You have 10-13 seconds. Great color concepts, has a big city feel. Excellent, excellent job! Very nice design and beautiful images at the top. My only suggestion is, either increase the font of your text or lighten up the background from dark blue to something lighter and darken the text. I spent about 20 seconds trying read that text and my eyes were hurting.
Other than that, very nice and warm design.

Hey Amy,
Welcome to REW. I have moved your site to the appropriate "Website Reviews" section of the forum. I have also removed the link to your site as we ask that you review someone else's site before you post yours for review. Once you have made a review, feel free to re-insert your link. Thanks!

Amy...nice to have you here. You also need to have proper title tags, metas etc in order to capture leads. There is a ton of info here to help you. Like most agent image sites there is literally zero seo work done so you will have to have access to these pages or have them do it.
