Default Artificial Turf

Hello Everyone.

We are selling our home and we need help promoting a specific feature.

Does anyone have any experience marketing properties that feature artificial turf? This product is relatively unknown in our region so it is going to be a challenge to use it as a selling point in our listing.

We are hoping that members of this community may be able to impart some wisdom.

Thanks in advance, jenn

Jenn, I think one of the first things that you need to do is answer some questions:
What is it about artificial turf that you like?

What have you found about artificial turf that gives it advantages over other ground cover (financial, maintenance, eco, etc.)?

If you were to purchase your house again, would this make a difference in your decision?

Is there anything about the artificial turf that you would change?

Once you have the answers you might begin to think of creative ways of incorporating these advantages into your marketing.

Is that front or back yard? I would have a description paragraph or two in a plexiglass holder about benefits and features on the back door or near the front door.

I've used this technique to highlight selling features because I won't be there at all showings (usually it will be another buyer's agent) and you won't be there (or at least SHOULDN'T be there) to explain it in person!

Another thing you could do is to instruct your agent to call agents that are showing your property and have them discuss this "cool" feature with the showing agent before they show. Just a thought (although I'm sure many agents would not want to take the time out to do that!)
