Default A website for realtors and consumer, what do you think?

This site offers our realtors a forum to advertise on print and online. They pay for an ad in any of our three real estate magazines and get the web for free. Since most of you are realtors and all of you know about the importance of the internet. Please help me offer a better experience to my visitors and my patrons, by giving this site a review. www.cordaco.com

With a flash that loads that long, you can bet I would have left long before it had the chance to disappoint me. Sorry it just looks very amaturish.

The ads on the right - not digging those either - if you are going to have ads on your site, at least put some effort into incorporating them seemlessly in the design.

Both FF and IE 7 I have to side scroll on a 1024 monitor.

Add to that - As a visitor I have absolutely no idea what this website is supposed to be used for - and I think you have a LOT of work to do.

Sorry for the negative review - but someone had to step up.

Try working on the concepts - make the site emphasize what it does and loose all that flash - when flash is poorly done, it is a detraction not an addition to a website.

Question Re: A website for realtors and consumer, what do you think?

Thank you for the review.

We are going for a very "airy" and "Open" look. I agree about the Flash, but we gave it a try and most people love it, but I agree it does slow things down to an unproductive level. I will change it.

You don't mention anything about content. What do you think about that?

Robert,

Not to be too critical but I have to agree with webmaster. The flash is way too long and the site doesn't provide a easy navagation (have to scroll to the right). Might I suggest removing the flash and working on the navagation.

I like the flash once it finally becomes available, but the bytes loaded thing looks very unprofessional.

The flash did not bother me. I think of flash like a slide show so the speed was also OK for me. I do not care for the adds on the right. I looked at it on an older monitor and had to scroll over to see what they were. The colors are good. I like the bookmark options. The text is kind of small. If this is like my website, it is work in progress. Hope this is some help to you.

Improve the gray bar in your footer so as the font style in it, tighten the gap between the main page and the sidebar and make a catchy banner.

I am not a lover of Flash by any means. So I guess you can figure out where my opinion lies. Just way too much going on for me and every page I have to wait for the new flash to load.

I do agree with the others. Your ad's do not mesh well. May need to try some different color combinations.
