In what context? Are you the owner? Or an agent wanting to add FSBO listings to your website? Knowing what market you are in will also help get an appropriate answer.

tomrenews ~ Is your question 'how do I list my property'? I am sure there is a discount broker that will do nothing but list your property for a fee, but are you sure that is what you want? Are you aware of the headaches you'll be getting into?
Do a search from the light blue bar at the top for the area you're interested in and go through the threads, you'll probably find someone to help you.

Why would you even want to attempt listing your home without the help of a real estate professional? It's been proven over and over again, that homeowners who list and sell with a Realtor actually net more money, than any For Sale By Owner.
I'm sure you would be more than willing to pay an agent 3% of they bring a buyer right? So my question is why would you pay an agent 3% to negotiate against you? Then the other 3% that you think you saved, I guarantee the buyer is going to want to knock that off the price since every other homeowner is paying it. So at the end of the day, if you hired an agent he/she would of done all the work and obviously would of net you more than the measly 3% they charged you. Did you know that only 2% of for sale by owners actually sell the home themselves without the help of a real estate professional. Can you afford to have a 98% chance of failure? What are you going to do for marketing? An open house? Did you know that only 2% of homebuyers actually bought their house through an open house according to NAR. That means again you are participating in an event that fails 98% of the time. Or are you going to run a 1" x 1" black and white ad in the paper and hope that someone sees it? Gosh if thats all it took, wouldn't every homeowner do that and save the commission?
