Default How do I get PR for my real estate website?

Hello!

I am a bit annoy. Cause I have been doing article submission, directory submission, link exchange, search engine submission, and sometimes do blogging, but still I don't have any PR. I don't get much output as expected though, but I have read that this all well help on obtaining page rank.I have been doing this procedures for almost 4 months now.

I really really would want to know, how long still do I have to wait to get PR? Am I making the right procedure to get PR? My Alexa also falls in a few number sometimes..

I really need help...

Thanks in advance

Welcome to REW, April.

This section is specifically for the Real Estate Webmasters Directory, so I have moved the thread to "Linking Strategies" instead.

How to get PR: have few to no outbound links from your landing page, decent content, then get a one-way link from a high-PR site. That's it.

But I would do some research and see if you really want to focus on getting PR or if you should be working towards SERP placement.

PR doesn't count for much these days. It's all about Search Engine Ranking. Do a search on G and look at #1-10's PR. Number 1 could be a PR3 while 10 could be a PR5.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the guidance. I will go there and see what other webmasters have in their mind.

Agreed. You need build more incoming one-way links. Also, the last Google PageRank update was in mid-February and it looks like you went from a gray bar to a 0. That is actually improvement. The next Google PageRank update should be coming around next month sometime (probably near the end), so don't hold your breath. Just focus and building good content for your website and it will come.

Good Luck

Don't get hung up on the PR foolbar. Get good quality incoming links. Participate on this forum regularly. Go to prweb and submit a press release. Keep blogging. Get a REW blog and blog from here.

Well, yeah, it first has a gray one and now a white one.. This is cool. Then I think I will just continue what I do now. Is there another faster way to do it?

Not really. Slow and steady wins the race in the end Just focus on adding more pages of quality content to your website.
