Some of you might know I like building links and I'm always looking for new and innovative ways.
This new one I found is with Drupal.org
Basically open a profile. Here's mine http://drupal.org/user/278901
Inside your profile you are allowed to link to your homepage. In your profile you can enter interests, I have 27. Each of the interests builds another link, so it took me a couple minutes to built about 27 links and make my profile stronger. Warning not suitable for everyone, this might be greyhat.

Interesting...PR 8 on the main page. Wonder if they profile pages will end up doing anything. Are you saying greyhat because your "interests" are not really interests but key word spam (or at least could be seen like that?).

I'm sure its just like having a trulia profile with a link back to your site. I think abusing it will be greyhat. I've seen some older profiles with pr4 and pr5, my page should be indexed soon also.

PS Anything with Portland Real Estate, MLS, Homes, Houses, for sale is my interest. No lie. But yeah this might be looked at as greyhat by some, if its abused.

I agree, as long as you don't go crazy and list the same interest 200 times, I don't think you are in that Greyhat area

Grabbing one link from that site is creative linking, grabbing 27 is spam, it is that kind of abuse that will wreck the opportunity for everyone (Google sees that it is way excessive and causes those links to no longer pass any juice)

It's the old give an inch take a mile thing - an inch helps, a mile wrecks it.

Profile is in serps. I'm just trying to beat trulia in my city. If I run slow I might lose the race completely. But yeah I think I have to many interests there.
