I found real amazing option this week. Its called Scoreplus.. Has anyone know about it.. I did mortgage deal this week and there was incorrect information on the credit score recording late payments., where there wasn't suppose to be any... The company that provides the tri merge in this case CBC provides an option called scoreplus.. I had a letter from the company stating that there was never a late payment...faxed it to CBC and CBC contacted all the credit bureaus 2 days later they emailed me saying it was taken care of and the credit score was adjusted and all the lates were taken off... I was amazed

Wow usually those types of agencies are impossible to get a response from and their mistake becomes "your" problem.

With paid proof many companies provide this service. Than can remove items from there report immedately. Then they usually fax the removal request to equifax, trans union and experian.

I would like to add a comment, it may help in the future.
Most services used by Mortgage Co. have this, some call it rapid rescore. This can be achieved as you have stated in your post.

So, if there is derog. reporting, a client can show proof or dispute those items, if it is genuine, than the credit provider companies can have the item removed, and have it re-scored within 24 hours. There is a charge for this.

Webmaster, I agree, dealing directly with the Credit reporting agencies is very difficult and time consuming. However, 3rd party companies, used by mortgage companies have a direct line of comm with them.

So, if a client FICO is 600 and shows 1 item derog, than, they can have it fixed. and, hopefully the score shoots up to 620. This will result the client substantial savings (average cases $30,000 to $50,000).
