My REW site is almost complete. I still need to fill in the about page and maybe another page or two. Looking to get feedback on the colors, picture, and overall appearance and navigation.

BTW the image is of the new W where my target market is.

Quick search is slick. I'm not really a fan of a mug shot on the homepage. Studies (good luck finding them, but they are out there) show that consumers don't want you looking back at them. They will go to the about me page if they want to know who we are.

LOTS of opinions out there on this one though.

I like the site!

In reference to the above question, I do know Google can search through flash objects and gather text. I used a flash banner on a website before and it came up in my sites index with all the information contained in it.

For the most part, I think it's pretty nice. There are a couple of things I'm not to fond of. I don't like the image in the flash slide show - It seems to fade out every minute or so for a second.. and it just doesn't fit with the template for some reason (Just my opinion).

The mugshot, I don't mind so much as other people. But like Ryan said, it's the whole.. mugshot looking directly at you part that kind of gets to me. If it were a picture of you looking off to the side or playing tennis.. something a little more candid, then I wouldn't mind it so much.

I dig the dark grey theme, with the red. It looks classy and reminds me of another classic REW Site, northcountyluxuryhomes.com (which is one of my favs).

Thanks for the feed back. It difficult to pick pictures that you like, or at least for me it is. I am trying to decide if I should pick just one picture or go with 4 or 5 in a flash.

The reason why the image keeps doing as you said is because I think it's still in a flash setting, with just one slide.

Yeah, I figured that was the reason. I think, in my opinion, it's better to have a few pictures in there. I always find myself watching the slide show the whole way through.. at least once.
