First off, the CMS 2 is a wonderful improvement over CMS 1 (?). Great job guys/gals.
However, I have a question and possible suggestion: While the new page organizer is much better then the first (placing pages in the proper sequence) perhaps I am missing something or not doing something correctly. I have 360 pages on the website (jennifermackay.com) and when I move 1 page the entire list reloads and take a very long time to complete before I can move the page up to the next spot. Am I not understanding or do I just have too many pages? Now, if I am doing this correctly I have a suggestion you may or may not have researched: Have you looked into providing a Tree component for this process? A Tree Component would make the movement of pages so much easier. I realize your data elements are store in a db, however this would not affect the speed or implementation of this type of component. Again, great job on CMS 2. I still have a lot to learn with it, but we (Jennifer and I) think it's a great improvement.

Jessie,
If by tree component, you mean +/- buttons at the main page / link level, that would "hide" or "reveal" the sub-pages and sub-links, and thereby greatly reduce the size of the page to be refreshed, I agree. The page refresh time is what kills us on moving pages around. If implemented, the default should be all sub-pages and sub-links hidden unless you click the + button for a particular main page.

Actually Ronnie, that is not what I meant, however your suggestions also would help quite a bit.
The current tree component in CMS 2 is almost there, but not quite and yes being able to "close" a tree would greatly help. A tree component, is one where folders and files are displayed in a hierarchy, similar to what is currently available. Examples of tree components are: Windows File Dialogs, Browsers - Organize Bookmarks/Favorites etc. It makes it very easy to move "branches" and files around.
