I thought I remmeber discussing this avenue on here before. However, after doing a search I can not seem to find any other threads about this vehicle.
Well I remember a lot of responses heavily criticizing this type of lead generation. Back then, I was (I believe) the only peson in favor of this vehicle. I just recieved my first "probable" on a bid. I have made a total of three bids - 1 each on three different properties. I don't know how, but I lost out on the first two. I say I don't know how b/c I can't imagine being UNDERBID.
However, the house I bid on is estimated to go for $75000. Granted this is not a lot of money - on my side of the commission split, but it would well be worth it. Or so I thought!
At the time I got the notice of "probably" getting the contract [there are some details that must be worked out, naturally] I was also notified that $800is owed to HUNGRYAGENTS when the home is sold. $800? $800!
Just great, one more transaction I just don't see going my way! Paying them $800 for the lead means I would just about be in the negative just to work the deal. Eventhough I am in favor of a HUNGRYAGENTS type lead, their fee is exorbitant!
