One of this forum's members was nice enough to supply this list to me: http://www.seo-kit.com/directories.php?sortby=bl&type=d I was wondering if anyone has had any luck (good or bad) with submitting to some of these directories. Thanks!

If it is truly a one way link than submit to it, if they require you to link back, it becomes an irrelevant recip exchange and is worthless. Paid directories such as Yahoo and MSN I would do, as well DMOZ is a must. Most of the directories on that list however arent worth the effort.

for instance indexunlimited.com links to casino sites, laywers and satelite tv from its homepage, obviously no concern for relevance, thus makes a bad directory.

I submitted to DMOZ about 2 or 3 months ago and of course I have been told that the wait is well over 6 months.
