How much would it cost for me to go to a wider template?

Hi Dylan,

Converting your website to the wide format would take approximately 4 hours design. Here's a breakdown:

1) Modify header width - 1 hour design
2) Modify slideshow width, resample images. - 1 hour design
3) Widen template layout - 2 hours design

In total this would take approximately 4 hours design to implement. Please approve this time and we'll have billing contact you in order to process your request. Once deposit is received we'll have this placed into production.

*Please supply the original images for the slideshow in order to resample. If images were supplied by us, please let us know.

Thanks. I forgot, what is the hourly rate? I probably won't do it this week, but definitly in the near future. I like the looks of the wide template much better.

I want to get rid of my slide show and just use 1 image. Can I get a quote on just taking the slide show off. And if I went to a wider template without a slide show would this cut down the design time?

Why are all of the REW templates narrow to begin with?

Not all REW templates are narrow to begin with now. Previously, we did only have the one option of the more narrow 800x600 resolution. We now offer the Wide template to begin with.

Traditional REW templates are developed for the previous screen resolution standard of 800x600. This resolution has become less and less popular as hardware technology has progressed. The Wide REW template with a screen resolution of 1024x768 is becoming more of the standard.
