Default 'nofollow' VS. 'external nofollow'
What is the differnce between rel="nofollow" and rel='external nofollow', if any? I noticed that the no follow links that are pointing to my site are a mix of both of these versions.

Both of these tags are the same in the fact that they are not followed by Google. The only difference is that "external nofollow" will open the link in a new window instead of the same window like "nofollow" will.

These two code snippets are synonymous with one another; they both do the same thing, just in different ways.
