the google webmaster tools linking stats? I just started using that portion of the tool, was using Yahoo exclusively for a long time, but I noticed that my links haven't changed in about a week on google. Is it just when they do an update or something?

Google crawls sites several times in a month but PR is updated quarterly...

Google takes forever to update anything in your webmaster tools. In other words don't hold your breath.

It takes them that long to update their page rankings? You would think they would update something that important a little more often.

Just a correction, Pagerank is constantly updated,however, its updated to the public every 2 to 3 months
And pagerank is not important at all, what is the difference between a website ranking 1st with PR6 and another ranking for the same keywords with PR1 ??
Nothing, both get same traffic except that the site with PR6 is getting 10x the spam the PR1 website is getting
