I am curious if onsite blog posts get added to my we site (Miketrinch .com) sitemap that is automatically submitted every day or is that something separate that I must request? I may have even asked for it already (and gotten it) but I forgot.

By default no, REW Blogging technology is not tied to the sitemap generation portion of the CMS, it can be requested (It would generate a separate blog sitemap.xml) I think the quote would be around an hour, but best to post in the work orders forum and let the programming team quote it for you.
