It must be something with your content / Wordpress blog.

Did you want to try an update to the version of Wordpress? It's about a 1/2hr project to do that.

I suppose, but I don't think that could be it. In the screen shots that I attached to the other ticket, the transfer rates were way way low compared to the other transfer rates. Didn't that seem odd. Regardless of the page size the transfers were like 6k per second on that machine.
