I didn't notice any backlink changes just results...it's been bouncing around all day!

A change like this is normally an algo change. Day to day changes in the SERP's are from your day to day actions like BL's.

It shouldn't surprise me yet it does, Homegain has made it to the top of the results for every term I work. Anyone have any thoughts on this update and what needs to be done to regain the top positions from HG. Really seems like huge sites have been given more favor once again.
