Default Ft. Myers IDX is out of whack

Hey guys,

Something is up with my Ft. Myers IDX!

It is hanging up when you try to open up the search form page, taking a looong time to load and is not pulling listings that match up at all to what I can pull directly from the rapatoni MLS on my end.

I'm getting emails from clients complaining about it. Could you please check it out for me.

Thanks

Seems to load slow in IE 7 - Firefox seems normal .... As far as the search results ... they seem to match up to what I selected - could you give me some specific criteria to test with?

I'll see what's up with the search in IE 7 .....

Hey Aaron,

Yep, we are using both IE 6 & 7 here and they're both running very slow - over 30 seconds to load the search form page on our broadband cable.

Here are two search examples that are way off:

Select City - Ft. Myers Beach, Single Family and Gulf Access. The idx gives no results found and Rapatoni shows 94 active listed properties.

Select City - Cape Coral, Single Family and Gulf Access. Again, we have no results found and Rapatoni shows 982 active listings.

We also got two again last night from a client where one is a closed sale and the other is a pending sale - MLS #'s 200815065 & 200814166. We are only supposed to have active listings being available in the IDX?

Let me know.

Morning Benjamin,

I took a look at the issue with the slowness and have applied a patch to correct the problem.

As for the Gulf Access search, thie field being search was the waterfront-desc. I've updated the Ft. Myers search to have a "Gulf Access" checkbox that searches the proper "RESIGUAC" field.

Aaron has found and is currently correcting the issue with the closed and pending listings. Things should be updated soon.

Thanks, have a great day.

Checking back on the non active listings still showing up. I continue to get inquiries on properties that are pending, expired etc etc.

Hi Benjamin,

Sorry about that - I had some pending listings in the Feed - I've removed them and updated the script to only pull Actives.
