Default New MLS search capabilities

My MLS just added the ability to search for REOs, Short Sales, Auctions etc. Will those feeds go out over my IDX? Will my site have the ability to use it?

As long as it is allowed to be searched you can request these options to be added to your IDX in the work orders forum - adding any addition fields or capability (New to the feed, or simply not included in CORE) are billable tasks.

Hi Jim,

I do not see anything in the data that has been added that identifies the listings as REOs, Short Sales, Auctions etc. Previously we've been searching in the remarks for the words "Bank Owned, REO, Short Sale". I've emailed the board to ask them. As far as the "How Much?" Please refer to Morgans post above. I'll quote it here as well:

Hi Jim,
I actually did hear back from the MLS - they said:

Quote:
You should find the REO, Short Sale, Auctions under the AddtionalListingInfo field.
Code:
  <DATA>Not Applicable / Not Disclosed Not Applicable / Not Disclosed 99 9415</DATA>
  <DATA>Lender Approval Required / Short Sale Lender Appr Req'd / Short Sale 6 9413</DATA>
<DATA>Court Confirmation May Be Required Court Confirmation May Be Req'd 5 9412</DATA>
<DATA>Court Confirmation Is Required Court Confirmation Is Required 4 9411</DATA>
  <DATA>Bank-Owned / REO Bank-Owned / REO 3 9410</DATA>
  <DATA>Auction - Reserve Auction - Reserve 2 9409</DATA>
  <DATA>Auction - Absolute Auction - Absolute 1 9408</DATA>
We have access to that field and can search by that field .... So ... If you still want to request a quote you may - just so you know it's possible to do this.

Thank you,

Jim, it's worth the effort. We put a bunch of REO-Short Sale pages (content plus showing IDX listings) up and they get 8K-10K page views a month with a very low bounce rate.

Well I think I have been a pretty good REW customer. Template site, custom IDX with many customizations. I mean I paid you $650 over the past month alone.
I thought it was pretty clear I wanted a quote. Both you Aaron & Morgan have replied in this thread. However, it seems that I will not get a quote to give you more business until I post it in the quote section of the forum even though you both already know about it? Am I understanding this correctly?

Hi Jim,

Yes - In order to receive a quote - you must post in the work orders forum.
