Trying to Register With Google Webmaster Tools
I am trying to get google webmaster tools to verify my site and they want me to add this meta tag:
<meta name="verify-v1" content="Wjch4RlD/rlGHykIwdWiEcWkLE6L64RD4yltZsZxJts=" /> I'm not putting it in the right spot because it keeps saying it can't verify it. Where exactly do I put this to get them to verify it? Or I can upload an html file it says, but I'm not sure exactly how to do that either because any pages I create have to be in php format. Any ideas?

I had to edit the file to add it to the <head> section. There was nothing you were doing wrong
