DMOZ real estate submission guidelines
Came across this page which lists more specific submission guidelines for real estate sites. It basically tells you what the editors are looking for when it comes to real estate sites which appear to be subject to greater scrutiny by the DMOZ editors. Following these guidelines should hopefully lead to a greater chance of your site being accepted.

Interesting page. How many sites do you have listed in DMOZ? I have one of my sites listed and have submitted my other sites with no luck.

You could be waiting much more than 2 years. Don't like it? Become an editor!
But DMOZ is just part of the equation - there are so many other things to worry about that you can influence. Submit it, and forget it. Sarah

From what I have experienced without the extreme cases, I think 2-3 months would be an objective average. I am assuming that your site is meeting the guidelines and no direct competitor of yours happens to be the editor
