While quoting please go ahead and quote moving mine to the wider template including making idx wide - and adding a quick search module.

I don't know if this really just means totally moving to the new structure or what but please advise.

Hi Wayne,

Please see quotes below.

A three column featured listing box would work well on the homepage of your website. This would take 2 hours design and 1 hour programming.

I would estimate it would take about 6-8 hours design to move your website to the wider template. This takes in consideration resizing your website images (please supply originals if from yourselves), widening your IDX and blog pages.

Adding a basic quick search box would take 2 hours design and 1 hour programming.

Moving to the new structure is only really required if you're also moving to the new CMS 2.0 upgrade as many factors within the upgraded version are dependent on the new structure. Please let us know if you'd like a quote on this as well.

Please approve the above quoted hours at 12-14 hours in total, and we'll have billing contact you.

Thank you.

Moriah - I requested this quote about 3 or 4 months ago and they told me then that it would be better for me to move to the new version. They are putting in the new CMS now. Thoughts on this??

Hi Wayne,

Back in this thread:

http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...ad.php?t=24318 we quoted the CMS 2 upgrade. The CMS 2 upgrade does not require a move to the new version of the framework. I couldn't find the part where we told you that it would be better to move to new version.

It would be best (especially in the long run) to upgrade your template to our newest framework. We'd be basically reskinning one of our wide templates to match your design perfectly.

Hi Wayne,

Ok - I'm confused - doesn't look like that quote was ever approved. I'm not sure what this has to do with the CMS 2 upgrade project ....

The above quote from Moriah is why I also mentioned the CMS .

I am now quoting a move to a wide site along with a couple of other upgrades. Since I was told that I should upgrade to the new framework earlier and because he said the new CMS worked better on the new framework - I am asking again if I should be on the new framework.

What is confusing??

I guess because that is not correct - a CMS 2 upgrade does not require a move the the new structure.
