I believe you'll find there is a large number of people in the "I don't get it" category. As far as I'm concerned, Twitter isn't of much help from a sales perspective unless your target audience (decision makers, influencers) is visiting the sites where your Twitter updates are being displayed.

I started to try out Twitter but kept reading that they were having problems keeping the thing up and running so I decided to take a back seat for now on that

I messed around with it a little bit but really didnt see the value. I don't really care about what someone else is doing during their day. Maybe I am missing something.

I've signed up only to see what it is. I think it is more for people to go and chat with each other and keep up with what their group is doing or interested in.

I have used it for several months - but cannot see any real benefit in Twitter. But happy to learn !!!
Squidoo and Zimbio works for me! Have about dozen pages linking back to main sites. The Squidoo pages are definitely getting traffic from Google. |

I played around on it for a few minutes. I really do not see any value for real estate SEO purposes. But, who knows as time goes on it might grow and have a greater amount of traffic. Any community with millions of members can end up providing traffic. Only time will tell.

I looked it over and I agree with most of the people here. There just is not much benefit. Time is much better spend on other social marketing sites (REW).

For Twitter to be useful you need a lot of followers. Nobody I know personally uses Twitter and I don't see the point rambling on to strangers. So I have given up on it...for now.
