Gregg, each person in this campaign received four emails from you yesterday because it was set up to do so.

Remember that when you are setting the email delays for a campaign, that each delay is from the first day registered. So, when you set the first email as a one day delay, the second email as a five day delay, and third email as a seven day delay... The lead will receive an email one day after they REGISTER. Then they will receive another email five days after the day they REGISTERED (Not 5 days after the last email). Then the third email they will receive 7 days after the day they REGISTERED (Not seven day after the last email).

Do you see what I mean? You have yours setup so they get 2 emails on the first day, a few in between, and 4 emails on the third day because they are all set to a 3 day delay. I hope that makes sense. I will be happy to explain it again if you need me to.

That was unclear, I believed that they would get it that many days after they were set up for the campaign.

So if I set some up that has been in my system, will they get all at once? I am unclear how to create the days of delay between one e-mail and the next. Is there no connection between the e-mails? So if someone was on my system for a year and I set them up as they are, how should they be set up?LIke this?

1,3,7,17,21,27,35....etc numerically from a start date?

Isn't this how the days work?

Day 1- (days since first email)
Day 5- (days since first email)
Day 7- (days since first email)

Yes, exactly! (The first email being the auto response from the register form or contact form)

Yes, do it just like this Gregg Whether it is a lead that has just registered or a lead you have had for a year, if they are a part of this campaign, then they will all receive these emails. The moment you place your 1 year old lead into a campaign like the example you gave above, they will get an email 1 day after they have been placed in that campaign. Then 2 days later they will get the 3 day email. Four days later they will get the 7 day email and so on...

By doing it this way, you have the ability to add leads at any given time. They do not all need to start on the same date and time. Once it is setup the way you want it, you can just leave it and forget about it.

This is assuming that this one year old lead hasn't been involved in another campaign with you. This is why you can have more than one campaign. You could create one campaign that consists of your older leads whose emails are designed to let them know that Gregg Camp is still here for them. Just reminding them that you are the man...

Your new lead campaign could be more aggressive and you would probably share a lot more info about yourself and your services in these emails.
It will just be a matter of putting your leads in the proper campaigns.

You can make a campaign that can be universal to all of your leads. Stick them all in one group and let the emails begin.

There are so many things you can do with this. It is just up to you as to how you would like it done.
