Google PageRank Down and Google Toolbar has a Vote Button?
Anyone else seeing the PageRank missing in the Google Toolbar?
Also, v3 of the toolbar, available on Google's site, has an option to vote for or against a web page. Anyone have any idea on what that means for SEO?

The voting buttons have been there since the first toolbar release. "Options", "More", "Voting Buttons".

Never saw the voting buttons before. Doubt they really mean anything for the placement of sites, but why not give a negative vote or two to HG and other lead generators.

There was speculation that they might incite a Googlebot visit (crawl) to new sites that haven't been picked up yet. Back in the old monthly-cycle Google Dance days, I would hit the voting buttons for new sites launched right before or during the deep crawl, hoping to get them into the next dance/update. Don't know if it worked, never tested a site without any incomings.
