Default Is anyone using Google Website Optimizer?

I was wondering if anyone has tested out Google's Website Optimizer on their real estate website?

http://www.google.com/websiteoptimizer

Google is going to offer its first online seminar on Webmaster tools, Analytics and Website Optimizer on July 8.

Can't say that I have, but it looks interesting. Made it to step three before I decided (Bookmark for later)

It looks like a great tool to reduce bounce rate, increase conversions, etc.

When you have 5 minutes, check out their demo - http://services.google.com/training/...imizeroverview

Pretty amazing stuff. Traffic is good, but traffic + conversions is much better!

I did but I just did not like it. It was not that it was not working, I just found that for my design style I preferred using features in Google Analytics.

I use the analytics content feature to watch which links my visitors click on so I can see what on page call to action is working. I also use "Goals" to watch the funneling of my visitors towards my target page. (My target page is the Thank You page on my site where visitors are directed upon contacting me, and the Registration Complete page on my forums.)

Using dreamweaver I clone my funnel pages and make minor tweaks to one page at a time and watch what happens in analytics. The goals feature really helps because you can see right where people jump off during their navigation through your "funnel".

One thing to remember is that if you have multiple versions of the same page make sure you use a robot.txt file to block SE's from reading them or you could face duplicate content issues.

Regards,
