As long as that page has to have been around to get that many links, it's not even cached.

BTW, looks like many members here have exchanged with this guy without knowing that his link page would have upwards of a thousand (guesstimating) other OBLs on it.

That site has been emailing me as well.

Even the articles are templated as I found when I searched for a key phrase

But according to my trusty Xenu link checker on the page there are

• 16 javascript popup windows to external sites
• 37 internal links
• 1580 outbound links (a few more than recommended)

but the site is a linkpartners site so it could have amassed those links very quickly which would explain the lack of PR and caching.

I haven't looked at it with IE6 but with Firefox it looks dreadful - you can't even see the menu items!

I got an email from him today, responded, and I see you guys talking about him. David Sorenson. I'm a directory and information site, so my response was a little different. Here is what I said:

You've had a link on our site since April 15th. In fact, you've had three
links, in the cities of Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and LeHigh Acres.

But not anymore.

Just now, I deleted those links. I didn't really like the tone of your
email, plus our directory does not link to sites with text the same color as
the page background. That is an automatic dismissal from the directory as
it is considered a definite no-no by most search engines.

Feel free to delete whatever link you say you have to us.

WOW. Talk about a crappy page! Thanks for taking a second to get the stats for us. I had no idea there were 1580 OBL's!!! Holy moly...
